
Eric Baron's Bio:
Eric M. Baron is a New York State, Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist. He earned his acupuncture degree from The New York College for Wholistic Health Education & Research and was awarded diplomate status by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in 1998. He subsequently continued his training to complete a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences and Master of Science in Acupuncture in 1999. Eric is one of only several Licensed Acupuncturists who is a credentialed member of the American Academy of Pain Management (FAAPM), the largest interdisciplinary pain organization in the United States. He graduated from the State University of New York College at Oneonta in 1995, where he earned a B.A. in Psychology.
Eric has been in private practice since 1998 and through the years has worked closely with orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, chiropractors and massage therapists. He employs the use of acupuncture, along with electro acupuncture and bodywork therapy (acupressure, AMMA Therapy, Tui Na), while addressing the importance of proper nutrition and exercise in order to achieve optimal health.
